Steel pipes and fittings, lined with abrasive-resistant and corrosion-resistant coatings
Anticorrosion and abrasive-resistant polyurethane, vinylester and polyester coatings are used for lining («Farbacoat Protect» and «Polyglass Corrocoat» (Great Britain). «Polyglass Corrocoat» is a modified vinylester-acrylic coating of natural hardening with a filler of modified glass wool. It is used where high resistance to chemicals, abrasives, as well as high temperatures is required.
The method of application is based on the action of centrifugal forces (centrifugation). Connection of pipes is made by means of flanges. Maximum operating temperature — + 110 °C in submersible environments; + 175 °C in non-submersible environments.
Advantages of lined pipelines manufactured by PASSATSTAL:
— in lined pipelines with «Farbacoat Protect» coating, the lining thickness is 3 mm, which increases the throughput capacity of the pipeline and does not significantly reduce the internal through diameter. Due to the small thickness of the lining, the lined pipeline is lighter than similar lined pipelines, which leads to a lightening of load-bearing metal structures and to an increase in the economic effect for customer;
— the Boehme abrasion coefficient is 0.003 g/cm2, this indicator significantly better than the indicator of other coatings with various fillers;
— the increased elasticity of the lining eliminates the possibility of chipping the coating;
— high resistance to external mechanical damage;
— maintainability of lined pipes.
Lined pipelines are suitable for a large number of different chemical environment with pH from 0 to 13, resist the effects of most solvents. Pipes are used in aggressive atmospheric conditions and splash zones (watering).
For the production of pipes and fittings, we use:
— electric welded steel pipes according to GOST 10704;
— seamless hot-deformed steel pipes according to GOST 8732;
— pipes made of corrosion-resistant steels according to GOST 9941-81, 11068-81, 9940-81;
— steel bend according to GOST 17375, GOST 24950;
— tees according to GOST 17375;
— reducers according to GOST 17378;
— flanges according to GOST 12820, GOST 12822, GOST 12815.
At the request of the consumer, pipes of other sizes and with other flanges are manufactured. The maximum pipe length is 5500 mm, the minimum length is 300 mm (limited by the possibility of flanging).
The minimum pipe diameter with lining «Farbacoat Protect» – DN150.
The minimum pipe diameter with lining «Polyglass Corrocoat» – DN100.
In agreement with the customer it is possible to manufacture any other lined pipes in accordance with GOST 8732 schedule, GOST 10705. The line capacity of lined pipe is up to 1,000 meters per month.
